The company purchases teas processed by local poor minority farmers at mountains 900-1400 meters high. The tea is from natural forest tea trees and the soil and product is pure and organic. Our company provides fair prices to farmers, trains farmers including women on quality tea cultivation and processing methods. We also provide basic school books on literacy and numeracy to local village schools and provide teacher training for our corporate social responsibility. The Story and Motivation for Lao Tea and Natural Products.
This small business and social enterprise is the result of field work in highland rural development projects in Phong Saly and Xieng Khoung provinces by the founder in learning from local people and villagers that tea and other rural products were a suitable crop for farm families to overcome poverty and protect the ecology.
The teas from both Phong Saly and Xieng Khoung provinces are mainly from natural ancient tea trees 100-400 years old or from cultivated local teas (Puer) and from tea gardens on planted using the seeds from the ancient trees.
